Quilting patterns vs. sewing patterns questions
#12
Hi
I quilt and sew so I agree with what they are saying...patterns goes on the right side of the fabric and if you have one that says fold then you need to put it on the fold of the fabric with salvage to salvage you don't necessarily have to have the salvage together but it the fold needs to be lengthwise unless otherwise stated...bias tape is just a premade binding so you don't have to cut it yourself it comes in a wide variety of colors ...with the quilting the back I would do it first like the other lady said and then cut the pattern piece of it ...sounds like a great project and once you start sewing other things the patterns get easier to read I promise ...good luck with it :D
