I think quick and easy works well when you are in a pinch and need to get a project done in a short time. Otherwise, it will take as long as it will take.

Quick and Easy usually means larger pieces to me. I love those types for charity quilts. Let the beautiful fabric be the star. That is what many non quilters like--especially the kid ones. They do not want to see batman all cut up.

I like the slow and steady. That said -- how many of us would still cur each piece with scissors?? or make half square triangles by cutting each triangle and then sew together?? So "quick and easy" for some is just the normal way of doing things. I hand quilt because I like to feel calm and have mental time to reminisce. Others prefer to long arm "quick and easy"
