Thanks for the heads-up! I would love to get a larger one, but it will have to wait until next week, when the crowds have thinned out

I just got back from Joann's and I was armed with coupons. Bought about $80 worth of fabric and paid only $17.00. It wasn't too crowded. They had a lot of employee's working so it moved quickly.

I just got back from Joann's and the crowd was bad at all. They had lots of employees working today so it moved quickly. I bought about $80 worth of fabric and after coupons, I paid only $17.00. Well worth it.

I've been getting my canvas from HF. About the same price. Learned the hard way that paint goes through. Years ago, was using it for a production back drop. Laid it on the deck to roll out a foundation white before painting the scene. Still have white paint on the deck. DH getting use to my little whopsies, and has mellowed out. Blue paint on the white columns of the house from painting branches, before cutting them off the bush, to use in a decorative display. Plugs out of the (old) carpet where I gun basted a quilt together. Dings in the walls when rearranging for a sewing room, from carrying something alone which was really a multi- person project. Currently, the (new) carpet is full of glitter where I've tracked it in from the solarium, having just finished making 37 table decorations for an upcoming banquet. Guess I should have laid down a piece of canvas in the doorway between the two rooms.

Come on, Karen! Get into the spirit of Black Friday. I, on the other hand, won't be stepping foot inside any store today. LOL!!

We do not have Lowes in our little corner of the woods but I will try Home Hardware as I am making lots of bags in the near future. Thanks for the info.

I've picked them up at Harbor Freight for even less with the coupons.

Now there is something that would never have crossed my mind. Thanks for the heads up.
