    I would think that someone who has cut their finger once with a rotary cutter will not repeat that exercise and that cut-resistant gloves would be sufficient.

    I made a trip to emergency room also for same reason. Tip of finger OUCH! So I bought a glove at LQS.

    I paid quite a bit. I want to say it was around $20. I used it for a couple weeks and decided to see how well it worked. i cut the tip of it right of with my rotary cutter. So I would suggest buying ones used by meat cutters/ butchers. they acutally do not allow you to get cut.
