This is extremely expensive, even in my eyes and I live in Switzerland!

Considering that they are not supplying anything other than the teachers, that seems incredibly expensive to me!
Are you really going to learn anything that you can't learn here or on You Tube?

I think that it is way to much for most people. unless you get all your materials free and you get to pick them out and the tops will be long armed for free by a pro. but that is just me. but I am in the US and I am a little bird who's call is cheap cheap cheap!. hehe

I bet you see a lot of the same. How to needle turn applique, how to fuse, how to do binding, how to press, how to pick colors, and probably everyone will have a book or tool for sale that has the complete instructions how to do it. I've been to workshops like this that were actually just demos, they did, you watched. Find out exactly what the instructors will be teaching and if it is hands on. It could be a great two days. Call and ask about every class.

Hi, See that you changed your avatar. I like it. Don't like the price of the retreat. Sounds like they didn't provide much information . For this amount of money I would like to know a lot more. They probably will go over things you already know. There is a ton of information on the internet (more than 7 teachers) and this board. Take care BrendaK

If this is for "Piecing" seminars - this is pretty pricy. If this is for "Quilting" seminars - it's right in the ballpark, especially if they are bringing in the famous teachers. That said, I don't know if I'd pay that much.

I've gone to Innovations in Tacoma WA several times. That trip: gas, hotels, meals, classes each cost me about $1500 for the 4 days.
