All red tag fabric at Joann's if half price until Saturday. Some of the fabric is very nice quality. If the red tag is marked $5.00, it is on sale for $2.50!

I just got back and all sewing notions and thread are 1/2 off as well. The fat quarters are 0.99 too I got around 25 of them. I got some really pretty green batik for 3.50 a yard.

    I spent $68 so I figure I saved $68 cause everything I bought was half off :-)

OOOHH - Maybe I need to go back. I found a really cute blanket panel that was original $29.99, I got it for $12 so it would be $6. HHHMMMMMM

I found some 100% cotton sateen on sale ... Will sateen work for a backing on a quilt? Is it hard to FMQ? It just felt so soft and cozy. It would be for my scrappy quilts. At least one of them.

At the time I didn't have my quilt measurements so I wasn't sure how much to get or if it can be FMQ, so any input advice suggestions would be great!! I plan on going Friday.

    Thanks
