Actually we were looking for a couple of things in particular and one of them we never could find
We wanted the One Block Wonder book and we found that, I found some GREAT fabric for the OBW so that was exciting! I found some really pretty Batiks for the Batik swap. I got some little plastic templates for hex that I'm excited about...they make it like 100 times easier! I also found some wonderful fabric for a quilt for my son who is a music major....it had musical notes, brass instruments, etc.....I am REALLY excited about that. The one thing I could not find anywhere was the 9 or 10 degree wedge ruler :( I guess I will just order it online. It really was a GREAT time!! :-D

LOL...Honestly I don't think we have that many quilt shops in my area but I am going to see. I think when she comes here I will try to schedule it with a class at my LQS or something llike that. They are SO GREAT there and I love the classes.

So happy for you to join up with other board members and shop hop together. Waiting to see your planned projects with all the fabrics you picked up.

What fun! Eleven shops, you are so lucky to have that many shops to hop.

QBee, where do you live in Kentucky, my friend and I meet in August every year in Morgantown (near Bowling Green/Elizabethtown but have had a hard time finding shops to hop. There is a jewel we found near E+town. We did find another nice shop in Goodlettsville, TN, so except for Paducah we come up pretty dry. So I was wondering if there were quilt shops in your area.
