I was Kansas City a few years ago but they were closed on the day I could go. I am going to Wichita in June and was going to land in Kansas City but dh didn't want the drive so I guess I will miss it again.

Just South of KC is Lee's Summit, MO. Be sure to go to Quilter's Station. You won't be sorry. They have a website so you can get an idea.

Don't know exactly how far this would be out of your way - but Paducah is a fabulous quilt city - with the big Quilt Museum there and the WONDERFUL HANCOCK'S OF PADUCAH - my all time favorite fabric store.

If you're going to be in Springfield, Mo. check out the FM Store it's not a quilt store but a fabric store and has some great prices. Also if you happen to go to Branson, about an hour from Springfield and possibly on your way to Arkansas there are several quilt stores. I especially like Quilts and Quilts, which is a 2016 featured shop in Quilt Sampler, according to their website. Love that shop.

Also...in Ozark, Mo. There is a great place to eat called Lambert's (not far from Springfield) put your name on the waiting list and then walk to Sew Simple Quilt Shoppe while you wait. Lovely little shop. A neat little cheese shop is next to that if you have a long wait.

Hope you have a great time!

Oh, and I believe Ozark is on the way between Springfield and Branson.

If you're going to Missouri Star Quilt Company you should try to stop by Cameron, MO. There's a nice shop there called Crossroads Quilting. There's also a shop called Country Sampler in Omaha and The Quilted Moose in Gretna just north of Omaha.

I agree. Paducah is about a 3.5 hr drive from Memphis.
