I am sitting here saying to oatw13, "I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!" Thank you so much for posting the video! I had no idea there was a foot that could do that and even if I knew about it, I wouldn't have had a clue how to use it.

I have fourteen very large pieces of fabric that I needed to have hemmed by this Thursday for my sister. She is the state rep for a major non-profit organization and puts on fundraising banquets all over the state (over $700,000 last year was raised through the fundraisers, just in this state), and she has been using patriotic fabric for tablecloths, but they didn't have a hem on the bottom side. I took them from her on Wednesday and she is picking them up on Thursday morning. I told her I could do it, but have been dreading all the ironing, so I haven't started yet. I am going out tomorrow and buying one of these feet and practicing. I figure this just cut my time in half. Again, thank you SOOOOOO much!

Satin is probably the worst choice of fabric to learn how to use this foot! Practice a bit on cotton to get hang of feeding the fabric.

Thank you for posting this site. I have tried for years to learn how to work with this foot and it seems that the foldiing before you start is the key. I will do a practice piece soon so I won't forget.

I just used my yesterday for a hem on a PJ top for my granddaughter, and I have used it alot, but still struggle with it at times. It certainly does have a learning curve.

I went right out and bought this foot. I have lots of cotton to practice on, so I am going to give it a try this evening!
