Mar32428, your store must have a great district manager. At my store, we could not even put up a poster for the ASG, whose members were our best customers. JoANN corp. are retailers, not fabric sellers.

About the cutting mat, I can't speak for Fiskar's but I bought a June Tailor Cut n Press mat that came apart after I had it for about six months.
I wrote an email to them because I believe in product feedback, and they wrote back asking where I bought it and also my mailing address. They sent me a replacement for free. I hadn't even asked for one. The replacement is just fine.
Go to the manufacturer with your concerns. Sometimes they aren't aware of a problem until they get lots of feedback.
