It's amazing how you already know what you will be adding -- before it gets to you. I am learning so much from you gals. Thanks.

Perhaps next time around, I'll be one of nervous ones anticipating. I will definitely stress over not ruining someone else's handiwork. Keep those pics coming. Good luck all around.

OH GAIL lol....not learning from me....that was a joke. I am a newbie....havent even figured out my own row yet. I said adding "plain strip" meaning a piece of fabric...no quilting no piecing...then no mistakes.

HEEHEE Margie, the "yoke's" on me. I'm so green, I thought by plain strips you meant a series of solid strips to compliment the row. I guess that shows what I know. I love it. A funny so early on New Year's Day. HAPPY NEW YEAR. WooHoo !!

I thought a row of strips/big blocks would bring out the detail of her work as well LOL
I had mine all planned till I saw I planed backwards .....I put the last quilt as the first one I would get

I just wanted to let everyone know that I went ahead and created a post in the picture section for our beautiful rows. Feel free to post yours there too when you're done.

Ah shucks guys! If I can do it, anyone can. I just worked on one block at a time and DD drew the mittens for me. I think these tops will look great when we're all finished.

Oh, no Sandpat, not all of them. The star is a paper pieced smaller block that I added borders to. The joy snowman is from a wallhanging and the penguins are a hen and chicks variation. I got alot of inspiration from a book of christmas projects and went from there. DD really helped alot picking out color combinations. She really has an eye for what looks good.
