Default Ruler folding- what to do w/ 36" fabrics?

How do you solve this? I tried folding it over at 11" so it matches the others, but I think this is not the best fix.

I didn't even know that they still made 36 inch wide fabric anymore. I would label that fabric however you decide to fold it, so that you know that it isn't the normal width.

I haven't purchased any 36" wide fabric recently, but do have fabrics where I've cut length-wise strips so I wind up with pieces of a similar size. I just fold them unevenly at around the 20" mark, then use the ruler. It does result in an uneven bundle. Comparing it with just folding at 11" is probably six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Fold in half (18 inches) and then ruler fold the fabric. Fold that in half again. Bring the edge out even with other ruler folded fabrics in the stacks.

I would fold in half and then ruler fold it.

Maybe you could just skip the ruler folding, and sew it into a quilt top? :-)
