Nice to know - the hospital I work at is called St. Rose DeLima & I have made a few quilting friends there that I'll have to share this with!

Jingle, I don't think it makes a bit of difference if you are Catholic or not....Saints are there to help intercede, no matter what the church affiliation! Have an awesome day!

A stitching and gardening saint! How good is that. I don't think you get to be a saint unless you have a terribly difficult life....St Rose was fortunate in the fact persecution and a horrible death wasn't part of her existence. This has been such a good thread....got us all checking her bio, so as usual a visit to the QB got the grey matter working

Oh so between St Anthony (Patron of lost things and persons) and St Rose my quilting should be exceptional from now on. Thanks for the info.
