To sash or not to sash??? . . . That is the question!!!

Help!!! I'm making this twin size quilt for my 15 year old daughter. I can't decide if I should sew the white sashing in between the blocks or if I should just sew the blocks together!?!?!? What would you do???
FYI: This is a Disappearing Nine Patch pattern. It will be 3 x 4 blocks. Each "patch" in the block of nine is 9 inches which makes a finished block that's about 25 inches! I'm having it quilted with edge to edge, fist-sized peace signs and swirly "stuff" all over! (I got the idea from someone on this board!!!)
I hope she likes it!!! Shhh . . . it's a surprise!!! :o)

The quilt is so colorful, so very beautiful and vibrant. I don't know, to my eye the sashing breaks up the color. If you like the sashing, would you consider a colored sashing, saying using one of the colors in the quilt? Then your eye could run smoothly across the quilt instead of being "stopped" by what feels to me like artificial boundaries in the white sashing.
Just my opinion. It would be beautiful any way you do it.
