One more vote for no sashing. If you were to try to use the cheddar color, I think it would detract from the overall design. I agree that a frame of darker colors would make a great border. Ultimately, though, it is your decision. Enjoy the journey.

No sashing, just borders, IMHO.

Don't change it, just add a border and quilt it. It is absolutely gorgeous.

I would skip the sashing. I think that it would detract from the blocks and their sense of movement. A small border and then a larger one would be nice, but they're not really necessary unless you're trying to increase the size.

I guess I'm in the minority but I like the idea of a thin, dark sashing in between the blocks but I also like the idea of a narrow border and then a larger darker border on the outside. Would that make it too big? It's a really darling quilt! Hope you enjoy participating in this group effort! I sort of miss having a group who collaborates on quilts.

Beautiful! No sashing for me either. Does need borders though. Either 1 or 2 of them in different widths

Why not find a white that is close for the sashing and use the cheddar (or any color) for the cornerstones and binding?

Sweet quilt blocks.

I'm with the no sashing and a couple of borders brigade. They are pretty blocks.

I agree with all of the no sashing posts. Very Beautiful as is. If you want it larger add various widths of a few borders. Please post pictures when finished.
