I'm a 2 and trying NOT to be a one because I think I would drive myself crazy and not be a happy quilter as a 1. This thread has been very helpful for me.

I see there is someone else that creates like me... I do a lot of ..ok add this to create that kind of block.. especially working with panels... I will look at a block and figure if I add this it will create a whole new look...

Due to skill level, I'm a 1 1/2. Too many errors to be serious.

I guess I'm somewhere between 1 and 2.

I would have to say that I'm a proud 2...if it's not bringing you joy, forget about it! (Honestly, though, I'm more of a 1 3/4 in the planning stages, & a 2 1/4 in the execution stage.)

I am definitely a 3. I love the act of finishing a quilt, but I love more starting a quilt. I love to try to make a quilt without a pattern. I hate! reading directions. Oh well. They are my quilts. I do not force them on anyone else. So who cares?

OK, so probably a 1.5. Depends on the mistake if I will redo. I hope to someday enter one of the big shows and I hear they look really close at every aspect of the quilt.

I would love to be able to make a perfect quilt, but sometimes the quilts just don't lay still for it. That is when my great creativity comes into play. If I can't make it right on 2 tries I add a new design element which enhances the original quilt.
That isn't covering up a mistake, it is adding value to the quilt. at heart, I'm still a 2!
