    Default In search of ideas..

My grandson has requested a quilt from the Star Wars theme and with the DEATH STAR being the main focus. Does anyone have an ideas of how to make one? I don't believe there are any patterns out there, so I am trying to make up my own version from images I found on Pinterest. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was surprised that there are patterns for making the Death Star. I always turn to Google images to find items I am searching for. I would be lost without Google!

    Those are some great images!

The Death Star is basically just a giant sphere... So you could adapt any large circle into a Death Star with the right colour fabric. Alternatively you could do a lot of star destroyers. These are basically triangular shaped ships. I'm sure you could imagine a ton of ways to incorporate triangles.

I have also also seen patterns on craftsy for some of the Star Wars characters. I can't say they are incredible, but might be worth a look.

    Good luck!

There are beautiful Star War Puzzles out too. We put one together, framed it in a poster frame and he has it hung up in the play room. Just beautiful. Maybe the star is out too. Good luck.
