    Default In Search of Patterns

I have in the past had 2 patterns that I am looking for I think they were in Magazines but for the life of me I cannot find them

I am looking for a quilt with dresses or aprons that was used as a memory quilt (need to make one out of grandma;s dresses)

I am also looking for one that was shirts that was used as a memory quilt.

If anyone can tell me where to look for those or direct me to some where where to purchase I would be greatful

    Thanks

There are a looooooot of memory quilt patterns out there. If you are looking for a specific pattern, we're going to need more information. Do you know the name of the magazine, pattern, or designer? How long ago were the magazines published?

If you google search, you can find many memory quilt patterns. When you search, click on "images" at the top and you can see what they look like. Hopefully this will help you narrow down your search.

I made this from my late grandfather's beloved Hawaiian print shirts. It's a pattern called Double Takes 4 by Anka's Treasures.

Lori Holt has a pattern with aprons. And if you look for Hawaiian shirt quilt blocks you will find this pattern in Etsy

Moda did a Hawaiian Shirt free pattern from Howard Marcus fabrics. It should be on the net if you search Moda Hawaiian shirt pattern.

If you are looking for applique designs, maybe you can source a pattern if you look up the links attached to the pics. You may not need a pattern if you are able to draw up the designs yourself. The shirt quilt can be pieced, not appliqued. I'm sure you could google several block images for either.

You said aprons and I immediately recalled Lori Holt's patterns. It is not in Farm Girl Vintage, I looked but she has several other books. Some of the folks from y quilting group/guild included the apron in their sampler quilts. I found one apron pattern in the Farm Girl Vintage 2 book. It is not the one I remember, but I will keep searching.
