To See If Anybody is Interested - US and International Round Robin III

I do so agree with Patti. Remember life CAN and DOES get in the way sometimes and no one can predict so just take care and only do what you really know is perfect for you both money wise and time wise.
They are a lot of fun but you need to be aware of postage costs and fabric costs because 9 time out of 10 nothing in your stash will work.
Okay lecture over lol

Oops. I didn't mean to start this off.
I certainly won't be doing more than one again in a hurry. It was fun, but I have other ufos I've neglected over the last year, and it does get expensive to post 2. I've enjoyed doing 2, and will treasure both my quilts because of all the work gone into them by all the ladies around the world, but I won't repeat it in a hurry. Life is too unpredictable.

This will be my first round robin, I tried to find the instructions but found conflicting instructions-one was very strict on size and theme for each boarder while the other had size but let the quilter decide the theme. Could you briefly write the instructions, I'm not sure which way to go about it. I'm a novice quilter, mainly sewn for myself. But I'm really glad to try anything, and the thought of my quilt going around the world sounds exciting!

I'm not sure what Terri's rules will be about participating in more than 1 group...see..part of the problem is that if something happens to you and you have to drop for some reason....someone else has to deal with replacing you in whatever # of groups.....a REAL problem.

Didn't you end up on more than one project like that because you ended up replacing someone who had to drop out of their own group?

I'm thinking that it's just going to be 1 person, 1 group. No one will be able to have more than 1 center going. It's hard when you have 2. Believe me, I know. And yes...life does get in the way, I know TOO well about that!
I will have names set aside for those that are actually wanting to do 2 centers, but those people will be set aside to step in in case someone has to drop out. Then, one of the people who would like to do 2 centers can step into the spot of the one that has dropped out.
Clear as mud?
