Default serpentine stitch

I have a Janome 9000, its a great machine, however, I am working with Minke and want to use a serpentine stitch but I cannot see it or find it on my machine...I have a newer portable Janome and it has it on it but I want to use my 9000..can anyone tell me if they know what number stitch it is on the 9000? I have looked and I don't see it. Very surprised it wouldn't have it....Please let me know if anyone of you know how to adjust another stitch that would work like the serpentine...Thank you in advance...

I have the Janome 9000 and this is what I found
In the image below the top stitch is no 19 and the bottom stitch the programmed serpentine stitch.

stretch out the no 19 stitch.

You might call the dealer where you bought it and ask; they should know.

I once heard it's only on a Bernina machine....not sure if that is true.

Oh my gosh. I can't believe your 9000 doesn't have a serpentine stitch. I have a 10-year-old Brother mechanical machine and it has a serpentine stitch. As does my Brother CS600i and my Brother Innovis 1250F. Brother and Janome are made by the same company. Call your local Brother/Janome retailer and ask where to find the serpentine stitch.

Brother and Janome are definitely not made by the same company; each is a separate major manufacturer.

I looked at the 9000 manual, and it looks like there isn't a serpentine stitch. I found the same thing with my Janome 4120QDC - you would expect a serpentine stitch, but it isn't there.
