I'm guessing that some other company will come out with a competitive, cheaper model. I like the Shasiko (Sp?) embroidery and it would look great on a pillow or a coat as someone said and the back of that wouldn't show. You could line the coat, etc. Bet there will be a knockoff by someone like Brother that will be cheaper.

I have a Pfaff and it too has a hand stitch. One has to use invisible thread in the bobbin. It looks pretty good, but don't think it can fool anyone into thinking it is hand quilted.

You can't do free motion quilting with this machine from what I understand.
On the youtube video, Nancy Zieman said it was a chain stitch on the back.
    My mistake...sorry!

Right on that for sure - I'd rather have a Long Arm :!:

For that kind of money, I think I'll just hand quilt when I want the hand quilted look.

I don't think I would like the chain stitch on the back. IMHO.

I have never heard of this machine before. If it gives a chain stitch look on the bottom that isn't nice looking, would it be possible to put another backing on the project (assuming it is a small project) and do regular quilting through that? For some people, that will be way too much work, but seams like an option.
It is a running stitch on the back, too, so it looks just like the front.

No, the front doesn't look like the back at all...

WOW! Wonder what kind of pricing and can it be used as a regular machine also?

My Brother has a hand stitch option. I haven't played with it much but I may try playing with the stitch length to see what it looks like.
