Does it sew with a foot control on the floor? Unplug that and replug it in making sure it is in securely. What does it say under the red light? I can't make it out.

I noticed you said you had a manual, but no instructions on your problem. Sometimes if you get on line you can ask for the manual on your particular machine and maybe....just maybe there will be an answer in that on line manual...lots of luck

You can also call the 800# in the manual if there is one. Sometimes speaking to someone can help. That is one of the reasons you asked us. Good luck.

ok have to ask as this happened to me, check that it is plugged in. Yep mine quit right in the middle of a seam, turned out the plug worked loose, color my face red when I took in to be repaired months later after I had saved up for the repaires! LOL

Yes, this machine is computerized...unplug overnight or for a couple of hours....sometimes this will reset the machine. If you had used it for a couple of hours of sewing, it may have started to overheat and the machine will shut down so that it doesn't do damage.
