Sorry you had such a horrible experience with your Singer, you just chose the wrong one. I would never use, buy or even accept a gift of the newer Singer machines. All of mine are vintage and the oldest is over a hundred and she runs as smooth as the day she was made. Also wanted to say Welcome to the board and I hope all of your experiences from here out get better. Good luck!
