short of fabric for binding - help?

I only do bias bindings if I have curves. I really like the look of a pieces binding. I recently got a tool that you use when you use the backing folded over to the front for the binding. I think it's calledQuick Mitred binding tool. The instructions are very good and it is really easy to use. You just cut your backing a couple inches larger all around.
