We have show and tell at the end of each monthly meeting so that's frequent enough and probably why I don't recall anyone showing more than one or two at a time.

You could also ask the organizers if four are too many and/or maybe save one for next meeting.

From Don-I don't think any guild has a limit for show, and tell. There was a lady in our guild at 1 time, would show any where from 6 - 10. And sometime, that was every month. She didn't have to do house cleaning, and cook meals. It was all done for her. So she spent her time making quilts.

I could have a quilt show all night at guile if they would allow it. I say the more the merrier but alas, I don't rule the world!

Speak to the person in charge of S&T and ask them if it would be okay and usually every one is very agreeable to see a few more quilts. They could also be laid out before the meeting starts when everyone is arriving so all could see.

We have areas around the room where extra projects can be displayed before, during and after the meeting. I would pick the two best to share and display the others to be seen and people can ask you about them separately if they wish.

We have S&T every meeting. It is one of my favorite parts of the meeting. Show them all!

Well, I am still reading all these messages, and I appreciate all the advice. As far as I know, there is no rule about how many quilts that can be shared at my guild meeting, and I know that others have shown four or more...I just don't want to be rude and hog the floor.

My current thinking is to show all four, very very quickly. I may change my mind when I am there, but the three charity quilts are aimed at Moore, OK, for victims of the tornado and I probably won't have them for the next Show and Tell. I know I will take all four, and I will show them if it "feels right"...meaning the line isn't too long.

Again, thanks for all the comments.

Our monthly meetings are 2 hours long and people show as many as they have to show. We have over 300 members with two meetings on that day. One in afternoon and one at night. You made them, your proud of them, show them off.

Show and Tell is my favorite portion of our guild meeting. I love to see what everyone has made. I say, show them all. Unless time is limited and there are a lot of people still wanting to share - then you may have to reduce the number. I would ask a friend to help you so it won't take as long. How about pictures here to share with us??????? We would love to see them as well
