To answer Murphy224: some propellants are used by kids to huff the chemicals to get high. Working with a drug clinic you learn All kinds of the go used to get high you would never even think to use. Scary! Bes to luck with your fabrics but I agree washing while painful would be best.

Spray flying bugs with hairspray. It stiffens their wings.

Not really answering your question, just offering an alternative to wasp spray. Keep a spray can of hair spray near at hand. When a wasp or be enters your 'space', spray it with hair spray. It makes the wings heavier so the wasp can't fly.

I'd give the fabrics the "sniff" test. If you can smell the residue, then I'd wash it.

So sorry this happened to you. I am glad you said you will wash everything. You dont have to do it all in one day but make sure you do.
