Look at the top of this page, click on Main (Forum), look for this Sticky: ****important announcement***
At some point on 1 November 2011, we will migrate to a new software platform. The board will be unavailable for a few hours. Target window is 8am...

I have been at the Houston International Quilt Festival all week and am just now catching up on the site. Wow - what a change! I am not sure I like it, hate to leave the old familiar, but will give it a try! It is good to be back reading everyone!

We are all trying to figure out the why of it all. My opinion this new sight is not easier. Does anyone one know why I keep reading the same old stuff over and over on these new forums??!!

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place. I want to find out how to follow posts. I had gotten notifications before but only get notified about one topic now. I can't figure it out and when I search "how to follow" I get a lot of posts but they don't give me a way to find the "how to follow" information that may be contained within the post.

GrandmaSewNSew - I found that I had to subscribe to some of the topics that I got notifications for before the change over to the new site. Just find the posts you want to follow and go to Thread Tools at the top of page on the right. Click on Thread Tools and it will give you the option to subscribe with notification. It is working for me.

You're welcome. Since posting that, I've become used to the "new, improved" board, and love the way all the new features work. Just give it time, work on one thing at a time, and hopefully it will all fall into place for you, too!
