Post Single Stitch - How to???

Hi All,
I have a Brother LB-6800 (Project Runway) Embroidery / Sewing Machine.
I want to sew Stitch 40 the "*".
But I only want to sew one "*" at a time.

Can anyone help he with this?
Thanks
Mike

Does your machine have a "single pattern" option?

or "single repeat" option?

or a guide/marker sort of thing (the old Bernina 930) has sort of a "dial" that shows where one is on a pattern/repeat

There should be a button or other control that allows you to stitch out a single pattern. On my old Bernina 1230, there is a button specifically for this function. Your machine doesn't have buttons, so it's probably buried somewhere in the LED display. Do you have the manual for the machine? It should be explained in the embroidery section. Have you tried using the Help? button on your machine?

I cannot imagine an embroidery machine with that many decorative stitches not having a single pattern option.

Since every machine is different, you might get more responses if you post the name of your machine in the header. My bet is that a lot of different Brother machines use the same method of specifying single pattern.

Have you tried contacting your local Brother dealer? Someone there might know, or have a number you can call.

Or you could do it the hard way. Stitch the * and stop, knot and bury
the knots. Don't forget to leave a tail before and after each * so you
can bury the thread.

If you google Brother LB-6800 there are several videos will probably tell you. One has part 1, & I would start with that one, it's not too long & she may show what you need to know. I don't have time to search them just now but will look again later.

I don't know about the Brother, but on the Baby Lock it looks like this and appears near the bottom of the pattern screen.

Sorry - forgot to manage the size of that. Didn't mean to post a billboard! On the screen it's about a half inch across.
