You're welcome .... sorry, forgot to remind you that you need to allow for the seam allowance.
So trace around your template, then a new line in 1/4".
Then use that for the new template to draw it all out.

Or as someone else already said, call Missouri Star and ask!
Surely, they would have the answer?

Missouri Star has a number of tutorials for the apple core on U tube. Sorry, I can't get the link to copy.

I tried making an apple core quilt once and found the small cures to be impossible for me. After two or three small rows I quit. Ended up in the trash.

I was able to find the ones that you shared, but they are not the same size as the MSQC small apple core template. I can't seem to find the quilt sizes using the small MSQC apple core template. I can't believe its that hard to find !
Did you check with MSQC? Plus the may have a youtube video that goes with the template.(?)

If you don't get a response about the quilts sizes, here is another option.

Take 4 of the cut pieces and sew them together to determine sample size. It looks like you would have a piece approx 7x7 after they are stitched together.

A row that is 42 inches wide will need 24 cut templates. Then you can add the borders or not.

What size quilt do you want to make?

What are you planning for the borders?

The tutorial shows using charm squares. You could plan according to them but there will some waste to account for in this method. Such a puzzle.

Hope you get the answers you need for your template.

I did call MSQC and the girl that I talked to could not find a specific pattern - - calling out the layout of blocks to get a certain size quilt

At least now I know that I am not missing anything... the information just is not out there

I do appreciate all or you thoughts and support

I emailed MSQC and said my friend wants to know how many apple cores, with your small MSQC apple core ruler would it take to make a crib, twin or full quilt. I heard back. They want to know what pattern I am wanting to make and what size. Can you make more than an Apple Core quilt with this ruler?!! Let me know if you know about what size you are wanting and if there is another pattern, which one you want to make. I will send a reply to them as soon as you let me know.
