I have a ton of large apple cores cut waiting for me, also a ton of large wedges. Good luck.

You're a girl after my own heart, I have given certain patterns a try then tossed the struggle. There are happier quilts to make.

    wow thank you so much

As far as I know its only the apple core pattern. My plan is to just make apple core blocks and I wanted to figure out how many blocks I would need to cut for a certain size quilt.

    I am thinking a throw size quilt... 50 x 60 or so

I heard back from Christa at MSQC. Email from them below:

Thank you for your response! I have included a link below to a tutorial that we have to this pattern. You will need 3 Charm Packs to make a 50x60. I hope this helps!

If there is anything else I can help you with, please don't hesitate to let me know! Have a great day

Now wasn't that nice of them. I hope this helps you decide about your fabrics. Best wishes-Toogie

The finished size is approx 3x4 or 12 sq inches for each cut template. Each four templates will make a block approx 7x7 inches.

Lay a few of the cut templates out on the cutting mat and see how many it takes to make a quarter of the quilt size you want. I'm guessing between 224 and 250 depending on math to make the 50x60 size.
