We walked into the garage sale, only to find a green Wizard machine sitting there, waiting for me to come take it home. It's a Japanese clone of the Singer 15, and a great one, at that. I wiped the dust off to take the photo, but it's not cleaned up yet. I'll get it all spiffy, when it's 'turn' comes around, LOL.

The man holding the sale was selling off his parents' estate. His dad died last year, and his mom was just put into a nursing home. This man told me the sewing machine had been his grandmother's and was purchased just down the road from us, at what was a Western Auto store, back in the day. I'm calling the machine "Elba" after it's original owner. She took great care of it.

I got this little gem for the grand total of $10! They also had a Kenmore from around the late 60's, early 70's, but I passed on that one.
