I used Shout to remove Coke from a white cotton shirt-it took 2 treatments but it all came out. Never put a fabric with stains in the dryer -this sets the stain for life.Soda pops are the worst stains I've ever came acrost. DS spilled orange soda on a new off white Berber carpet -he called me to fix it-after sopping up with rags I spilled Shout on it and waited 10 minutes and used the shop vac to pull out the rest of the stain. He now only uses Shout when he shampoo's the carpet. After 2 yrs and several dogs and my 3 rowdy GD's the carpet still looks new.

I am a fan of Oxyclean - I mix it well with some warm water and dislove it before I put it in the washer - then add what ever I need to clean, fill the tub, agitate for a few minutes then let it sit overnight. Good luck

I hope the good advice offered here gets the stain out. If that doesn't work, tea-dye the entire top to hide the stain. Make a very strong solution of tea and dilute it in a large-enough container ( bath tub or deep sink and let soak for a while. When it has soaked and changed color (This won't be a drastic change) to your satisfaction, wash to remove any excess tea. Good luck.

I use ZOUT on all stains. I SWEAR it works on everything (sometimes even after it has been dried). I used it for all of those baby spit-ups on white onesies and it got everything out... Spray it on, leave it on for 15 min or so, then wash!
We have it here in our Meijer's (Walmart type store--but higher quality). Red spray container!
