Check out ebay. I've made some very good purchases of fat quarter bundles. Just be careful of the "estate sale" finds. I've learned those frequently have sun faded fabrics or the fabrics are too thin. Plus, they may not be 100% cotton. Do a search for "cotton fabric quilting fat quarter" and you will get some good selections.

I bought lots of solid cotton when it was on sale at Hancock fabrics. Now my only regret is not knowing the name of the colors. Some are just shades apart and finding the exact match in stores has been tricky.

How exciting. We can all salivate over the various colors. By the way, my husband is an enabler, too. But I try to keep my purchasing under control. Thousands of bolts is another good online store. I just got a big order from them for an average of $4.99 a yard. I like them because they have the color match, where you can pick a color from a fabric and a plethora of colors will be shown. I have never been disappointed in the color match. Have fun.
