So very sad to hear about your mum. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Quilts are so much more than just Layers of fabric and batting material..and...they always will be:)

Wondering if you could get photos of those quilts the sisters have and make yourself a quilt using the photos and maybe colors of fabric your mother loved. So sorry they didn't share. Maybe you can make lemonade out of lemons. Hugs,
