Yes, I do. I usually get on here about 7PM while my hubby alternates between reruns on TV and naps. My plan is to spend 30-45 minutes or so but before I know it it's 1:AM. So glad I'm retired.

Yes, guilty as well. I did stay off for a couple of months (due to frustration not being able to navigate the new board format), got lots of quilting done (well, started making purses and got about 30 done!), then missed it so much here, I was determined to give it another try. Glad I did! Now, I am spending too much time - again - and not getting any quilting/purses done! I like the idea of a timer, but, I know I would just ignore it! This is my only social connection to the quilting world (wish I had a guild or something) and I learn so much! Besides, I just bore my family with it, so here I can let it out! LOL

I'm also quilty , but I just love everyone so much here and this is my only social connection to the quilting world also
as Vanuatu Jill said in her post. When my other computer gave out on me and I was off line for 4 months I just about
wanted to cry every day . So yes I do spend allot of time in here and I also learn so much from everyone whille I'm here.
Thanks everyone

I have my computer sitting right in front of my sewing machine. I'm here off and on all day. I peruse a little, sew a little, peruse a little more... The good thing is that I've learned so much since I joined the bad (?) is that I have also spent more money than I ever would have had I not found this site. The patterns I buy that I will never live long enough to make, all the cool must have gadgets, boy oh boy!

I have spent many days with you all. I have learned so much that I can't begin to say, what you all mean to me. I don't have a group that I can talk with about quilting. I feel like part of a large familly here. I guess you could say that it is like, "my soft place to fall". The people here are so generous with their knowledge and support that I just love it. I will never be able to start or finish all the quilts that I want do. The talent that is here on the board is awesome. I can only strive to do my best to achieve some of the success's that most of you have. Thanks to all of you for being here.

I've had my six-hour stints and some very odd looks from Dh and DDs. It's ever a waste of time though. I've learned more during my few months on this Board than in the preceding 9 years. It is really empowering to see all the beautiful creations and share with other addicts.

I'm sooo guilty. I do the same ritual every morning with my cup of coffee. I'm a little worse I take the laptop to my sewing room and set it where I can see it and when I break I sit and read. I should be doing homework right now but I saw this cool kite quilt and the cycle begins....lol Did I mention I almost burnt a batch of cookies got so distracted!! have a fabulous day!!

My name is Sharon and I'm officially a "Quilt Boardaholic."

I look at my time on the board as an investment. Even though I spend hours here, I end up saving time on many quilt projects, learning from others mistakes, learning new techniques, etc. It's like taking a quilting class all the time. Then I consider how much money I can save by utilizing all I've learned, plus I didn't have to pay for the class!
