Springtime Quilt Finished!
#1
Debbie JJ contacted me to see if i would be willing to "practice" on one of her quilts. I reluctantly said yes. I am very very new to Long Arm Quilting. Her quilt was flat and very easy to quilt. She did a very good job piecing it.
I learned that using varigated thread can be tricky, my first attempt looked like I took colored pens and scribbled on it so I took those stitches out and tried again. Here's what I ended up doing. I did it all freehand. It was a fun project to work on. Thanks Deb!

Freehand? Wow!! I have no drawing skills at all, so freehand is soooo very hard for me!! I don't get even designs at all. Even after practicing for 3 years....I don't do freehand very often. I usually do my loopy meandering or I do pantograph edge to edge.
