I think I would move it out of your sewing room, maybe to the garage? You don't want any smell to linger and cause allergy problems later. I would then put like colours together and do in huge loads at the laundry matt. A big job but some great fabrics you've rescued.

WOW! I had the same luck this last weekend. I went to a garage sale held by a long-time quilter. Aquired 50 yds. of fabric, 3 full, lg. ziploc bags full of pieced squares in various sizes (beautiful work)and colors. All for $46.00 and we didn't even make a dent in what she had for sale.

WOW! What a great find! I think I have some yardage of the print with the large children on it. Seems to me like the one I have is a little heavier fabric.
Hope everything comes out okay in the wash...so to speak.
