Default stash??

I was in connectingthreads and saw some fabric on sale. One fabric said stash. didn't explain what size or how many. then saw a different one that at least said 32 pieces. When did someone come up with this name? I think they mean layer cake but have no way of knowing.
I've not heard of this stash one. I couldn't order since i had no idea what it was. did get something else though. anyone know?

saw the same thing in Keepsake--think it's not a layer cake but rather a bundle of their left-overs (although good size maybe).

Are you referring to “stacks”? Connecting Threads stacks are 10” squares. I think the name “layer cake” is from Moda, so some fabric companies use the term only when it applies to Moda fabrics. But, I think, Connecting Threads now sells Moda fabrics, so perhaps they will sell layer cakes and stacks. Riley Blake refers to them as 10” stackers. Layer cakes, 10” stackers, stacks—confusing, right?

I just learned something new. I thought they might be stash builders to put in my stash and be able to pull up with the need arises.

Can you post a link to the item?

I would contact the vendor and inquire as to the description. Perhaps they accidentally left it out when putting the product on their site.

I went back and think i was in the pre cuts. that should have told me a bit but didn't, evidently! Still I like full descriptions on any site.

All stacks are under the 10" pre cut square category at the Connecting Threads website. Stash is under stash builders.

I believe they are irregular left-overs and that's why they can't give you a size for all. Should still be great fabric, I would think.
