I have a book called CHARMED BEGINNINGS by Jo Baddeley. It is a book all using charm packs. I have not made any of them yet, but have a number of charm packs.

I LOVE Pat Speth's book, "Nickel Quilts" - such a huge variety of patterns from charm squares! Unbelieveable! :)

One of the coolest things I ever saw was a page that showed some of the many ways to arrange half-square triangles.

You can just sew hundreds of light/dark charm squares and cut them into HST's - the number of ways that you can put them together is just mind-boggling!

Try the Lil' Twister. It uses 5" squares.

I think the pattern is called Scalloped Charms. It's been a couple of years, but I'm pretty sure that's it. It may have been a free pattern but I really don't remember. It's got sashing and corner stones. Probably would be easy enough to do without a pattern if one was willing to sit down and figure out the dimensions. It's one of my favorite quilts! The "scalloped" part referred to the border treatment, which I didn't do because I thought the instructions were confusing. it wasn't a standard scalloped border. I opted for the easy way out.

I took a Twister class and used charm packs. It turned out pretty. Charm packs sure save a lot of work.

I used charm packs to make dresden plates. I used Darlene Zimmermans dresden plate pattern.

I have the template she made. I got it from Missouri Star quilt co. I have a bunch of 5 in 1930's and that will be perfect! Thanks for posting that and reminding me I had it!!!

I've been making these quilts from a soduku puzzle. You just need 9 charms of 9 fabrics to make them. Super easy and fun
