yes it does about 6" at a time I think I am going to do the cinnabon idea in the blocks now to figure otu the border lol

I'm seeing two ways to quilt this top. (1) An edge to edge floral design using a dark lavender thread (the top's colors look like lavender and navy on my computer). (2) Stitch in the ditch along the seams of the squares then meander the outside borders. The main thing is to do what you are comfortable with and have fun doing it!

Overlapping circles all over but not in straight rows.
Or circles in the block, 3 or 4 starting small ,enlarger each addition.

What color is the top? It looks green to me.

You can lighten it up a LOT with thread color. Lighter thread will give it a lighter look. If it's dark, a bright thread will really spark it up.
