One of her insights about quilters that she shared is, if you're standing in line to have a yard cut and the person behind you says "Oh, I HAVE to get some of that!", you then decide to get three yards for yourself. Oh, how true.

Too funny, My Christmas wish list to DH was a bunch of domestic (not longarm) machine quilting books. Hopefully he gets them all for me. I found them on line, some used and to get them all (including one piecing book) would be under $100.
Here is the list I gave him:
Guide to Machine Quilting by Diane Gaudynski (found new on line for $11)
Elegant Macine Quilting by Joanie Zeier Poole (found new on line for 2.76)
Heirloom Machine Quilting by Harriett Hargrave (not sure which edition) found used on line for $10
The most expensive one of the bunch was Divide & Conquer: Quilt it your way by Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan new for $35
The piecing book was Quilts of Illusion by Laura Fisher (used $3)
Can't wait to see what these babies have to offer.
