Taking the time to Thank this Board
#31
So sorry for the loss of your parents. I haven't had parents since the age of 12,and I learned to sew from my Mom,and it not only is my serenity but has played a very big role in my life, making some gift for someone or volunteering the gift to our church raffle has brought great joy in my life,I feel it's my contribution to the world. My husband passed away two years ago this July and if I didn't have sewing I really think the painful mourning would have lasted much longer. So my suggestion to you is,"go do what you love",keep up your quilting, your doing a beautiful job your quilts are outstanding.

You put the right words together to express what this site means to so many women (and men) This is my connection to the caring community that helped me with warmth and humor to get through grieving. And inspiring us with quilts like yours......wonderful. Thank You

I am so sorry for the loss of your parents! I know how u feel, I moved in with my mom and cared for her until her passing. It was hard, especially when I had my own family to care for, but, I am so glad I did. It just would have made it easier to have been on a board like this at the time! This is a "Medical Miracle" I love your quilts!
