Mine is a modified Carpenter's Star (I added an extra round). It was a baby quilt for my friend's first granddaughter.

Mine is a work in progress, I love doing the paper piecing and am over 3/4 the way through. It's a New York Beauty. I picked it up to work on something else for a while and have yet to complete it.

Mine is a modified framed 9 patch...yeah, if you look, I did not put the nine patch in. It is the third quilt I made, and I made it one year ago. It is still one of my favorite quilts.

Mine is made from the book "Viva Venezia' by Christine Porter. My husband and I have made several trips to Italy and I am always taking photos of the church floors for quilt patterns...this book helped me make those photos into a quilt, and it is hanging in my husband's office. It brings back great memories for both of us. BTW, it is a great method for doing tumbling blocks without set in seams!

Mine is from a picture one of my daughters took while we were in Greece. I blew up the picture, traced the lines on to template plastic, and then took it to our local art store and had the blow it up. I then made templates of all the pieces and fused the pieces for my wall hanging. When I blew up the picture I was so excited to see the man sitting on his porch. My husband thinks its him when he retires!!!

Mine is a wedding present for my neice, it's a pattern I found in a magazine(can't remember the name of the pattern) and I loved the idea of using multiple fabrics. I went with all her favorite colors.

Mine is a baby quilt for our neighbor's baby across the alley two years ago. The white spaces are written with little boy sayings "Snakes and Snails and Puppy Dog's tails, that's what little boys are made of", and other sayings.

It was made to drag around the neighborhood, have a picnic on, take on vacation to anywhere in the world. Bess is giving the ok on it. She has to either sit down, lay down or curl up on each and every quilt I have ever made since we got her at 7 weeks old. If she is comfortable on it, it goes in the washer and dryer for the giving. If not --- I don't know yet, she lays on every single one. She even lays on the blocks when I lay them out on the floor!!!!!

    That's my avatar! Edie

PS - I just finished another quilt for Cameron's new baby sister, who is going to be born in May! Same thing, Bess ok'd it!
