Is it the one with Emma Thompson? Sense and Sensibility is not only my favorite movie, but my favorite book by my favorite author!

I never noticed a quilt....will have to watch it again this weekend!

There are great quilts in "When Harry Met Sally" (windblown tulips on Meg Ryan's bed), and in "You've got Mail."

That was Pride and Prejudice. I love anything by Jane Austen.
My bad. You are right. Sorry

No need to be sorry for mentioning Colin Firth, for any reason, at any time!

Barbra Streisand's, "The Morror has Two Faces", had great quilts in it. My favorite was a crazy quilt. "Bridges of Madison County" has great vintage pieces also.

There is a set of movies called the love song series I think. It is set in the western days and it has lots of quilts in the movies.

This is so funny! I hardly watch TV at all, but my husband watches tv all the time he will call me in when he finds a quilt on the program that he thinks I would enjoy looking at, or one he really likes, and maybe I know the pattern, and could make one like that. A couple times he has called me in because he has seen a quilt pattern I have made, and he recognizes it(well, I guess he does pay attention), then he'll say something sweet, like "I like the way you used the colors better. I guess "he buys my chairs" after all. The quote is from "Phenomenon" a movie with John Travolta and Kyra Sedgewick.

I have only just started noticing quilts in movies and TV as I am a relatively new quilter but I have been a painter for some years and even lose the plot trying to look at art works on the walls in the interior scenes! Now with quilts to look for too, well is there any hope for me? Lol!
