If you really want it and your husband is on board with you getting it then get it - for the cabinet. I'd leave the machine at the first thrift store I found. The bed decals are shot, it is a horizontal bobbin, a tricked out Singer 66.
The cabinet is a beauty. You couldn't give me a Singer 66 machine. Not my cup of tea at all.

I tried to correct but it didn t work....I meant to type a 503a Singer slanted needle

I have the same machine and cabinet I picked up for $100 a couple months ago. I have yet to get it cleaned up due to the hot weather and no place but outside to work on it. I'd grab another if it was in this cabinet!
