than to come home from the fabric store and fold my new fabric. I went to JoAnn's to get some batting and bought a bunch of black/white fabric for a distant project. I'm sure I'm not alone in my fondness of playing with fabric.

I do that too, as soon as I can I will take my fabrics out of the bag, fold them nice and neat and admire them.

Feeling fabric is very therapeutic. When my quilting friend comes to visit if she is in a foul mood she will sort and put away my fabric and will even iron pieces.

Last week 2 friends and I took a RoadTrip to 3 (new to us) quilt shops. I do not want to see my Discover Card bill!! We had so much fun but I agree-the best part is coming home and folding and feeling and loving that new fabric.

LOL...DH teases me all the time about just looking at the candy.
I bring home fabric..and I take it out of the bag..refold it..run my hands over it. Then..I take out a plastic container to store it in...It has to be in that box just so. I put the lid on it..then take it back off and admire it some more.

I do that too. But I usually let it sit on my cutting table for a day or two so I can look at it and admire it. Then I decide just the right place to put it, with reds? or florals? or fusions? etc. The other day my 9 year old GD offered to help me sort my fabric and put it all away. Sounds like she is getting the bug too.

Love playing with fabric! It got me in trouble while working at the fabric store. Bad move since I rarely came home with a paycheck! Lol

LOL..the manager of the local Joann's asked me to come to work part time. I came home and told my husband..and he didn't like that idea at all. He said it would cost him money for me to work...LOL I love staying home anyway.
Peace and Blessings
