    How about dressing it up with some appilque bubbles or aquarium plants. I love the gold fish.

    I like the asian koi theme. I bet when you put 3 blocks together you will love it.

    Change the border to match the inside border and it will be fabulous. Is really fine as is.

    Change out the border, it doesn't really fit with the rest of the quilt. After that it will be beautiful!

    I think a different outer border would be all you need. I'd use a golden yellow to match the medium color of the gold fish and call it good.
