It ticks me off when I see a beautiful old Singer cabinet converted to a table or a really nice iron base with a glass top on it. Guess that is probably because I gave up my old Wheeler and Wilson Family #9 for a modern piece of junk and my husband got rid of the cabinet and converted the head to hand crank to make sheathes for his hand made hunting knives. Now, I am trying to recondition an old cabinet that has not been cherished by someone so that I can use the 127 in it, or better yet, the 66 I got . I sure miss that relaxing feeling that treadling gave you as you sewed away.
