I was thinking the same thing as everyone else-lightweight iron on interfacing.

Thank you so much I knew that I could get some help on this forum, all of you ladies and men are so great when it comes to helping someone out with there problem.

I will try the light weight iron interfacing... I did take the quilt apart and there isn't a lot of the fabric that came away that I can use. They didn't use real good fabric when who ever made it, I'm sure it was very cute in it's day but now it just looks so sad LOL...The fabric that I saved is a small red checked with mickey mouse on it. The part that was under the seams still looks good but the part that was exposed the design of mickey is almost gome. So I am going to try and use all of it but the part with mickey on it will be the center of a block made with some new fabric..I'll post a picture when it is done... Thank you again...
