Thanks for the laugh!! So funny, that'd be something I'd probably say, and with my luck, everyone within the near vicinity would hear it, not just the clerk, but then, once I realized what I said, I'd be laughing too!

at the grocery store, i did have "someone" ask if i was going to measure that bread, and then i realized i'd left the measuring tape around my neck. thank you, dear daughter, for making me feel silly in public. payback, i'm assuming, for years of superb parenting on my part...
